Military Tailors

Abimelech Hainsworth's 200+ year history lies in military uniform cloth. From the beginning, Hainsworths' have specialised in the highest quality uniform cloths for armies at home and abroad. Fighting men of George III crossed the seas wearing Abimelech's Yorkshire cloth and Hainsworth uniform cloths went to Trafalgar, the Battle of Waterloo, the Crimea, South Africa in the Boer War and the two World Wars.

Today we supply traditional ceremonial woollen cloths to a host of European armed forces including the traditional Guards scarlet cloth, manufactured at our premises for generations.
